American Airlines FLIGHT 587 A-300 Airbus crashed just outside New York's
JFK airport. The plane exploded in midair over New York's Jamaica Bay.
The Bush administration has announced the FBI believes Flight 587 did
explode in midair and is working to determine the cause. The FBI has a
VIDEO TAPE of this plane exploding in mid air and refuses to release it
to the public.  Suspicious? (See NewsMax link below)

Aviation expert Vernon Grose said that he's increasingly skeptical
that the crash of American Airlines Flight 587 was accidental.

"I am backing away from the idea that this is simply an accident"
He questions the sequence in which the plane broke up before slamming into
a residential area in Rockaway, Queens. "Photographs indicate the vertical
stabilizer of the aircraft with the American Airlines insignia right on it
fell into Jamaica Bay long before the engine falls off in Queens"

Grose said that if the vertical stabilizer detached from Fight 587 over
Jamaica Bay, before plummeting to the ground in Rockaway, it suggested
that catastrophic engine failure alone may not have caused the crash.

Grose said "No, I don't think that's the situation at all." The engine that
came free, which apparently was the #1 left engine, crashed on land. That
was well after the vertical stabilizer was detached from the aircraft, and
that tells me that somehow the airplane was progressively disintegrating,
not just losing an engine and then diving into the ground. Earlier today
I thought it was simply the loss of an engine that caused this,
But I'm not convinced now. I am becoming more skeptical."

Something I've noticed about the plane crash in Queens- ALL the first eye
(and ear)-witnesses said they "heard an explosion" (some thought it was the
Concord) and then the explosion when the plane hit the ground. 2 explosions.
People who actually SAW it said there was a small explosion at the side of
the plane, then the engine flew off and then the plane crashed. The engine
didn't explode, it flew off the plane. One man was emphatic that the explosion
at the side of the plane wasn't a big explosion. None said the tail came off

CNN's Aaron Brown must have said a dozen times. "When something like this
happens people are in a state of shock. They think they saw things they didn't see,
they think they heard things they didn't hear. We have to wait a while to find out what
REALLY happened."  Next thing you know Guilliani is on the news saying, "We're getting
conflicting statements from eye-witnesses. Most of them said the plane just broke into
pieces and crashed to the ground. A 'few' said they heard an explosion... " It was
obvious, when Aaron Brown started his schpiel, that they were going to attempt to
discredit the first eye-witnesses.

At the beginning of the coverage they also mentioned that military jets had
been doing regularly surveillance in that area and the Pentagon reported
that nothing irregular had happened. I was wondering. Could a laser weapon
from a military jet cause a 'little explosion'? What I haven't been able to
figure out is the "why"?  I read a short article earlier that the people in
Rockway didn't believe it was an accident. They believe it's terrorists and
not being told. Anybody have any thoughts on this? / Jackie

According to DEBKAfile, a number of people linked to Al Qaeda
in New York behaved suspiciously several hours before the crash;
some, who were under surveillance following the September 11 attacks,
managed to disappear.

US F-15 warplanes, on 24-hour patrol in the skies of New York and other major
US cities, were ordered immediately after the crash to search for any boats or
unusual activity in the Jamaica nature reserve. Nov. 14 divers were seen
searching for any evidence missiles had been fired at the plane, such as a
launcher or a scuttled boat, on the assumption that the terrorist who fired
the missile escaped in a scuba suit.





WARNED! Terrorist Strike Likely on Veterans Day

Despite adamant denials by the US FAA, it is now becoming clear that prior to
the crash, US intelligence did indeed receive numerous warnings from intelligence
sources outside the United States a terrorist strike was likely on Veterans Day,
to mark the 2 month anniversary of the attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon.
Information also points to a new wave of terrorist attacks in the making against
military or economic targets in the United States, Afghanistan, Pakistan and
Saudi Arabia. In the United States, targets could include airplanes and other modes of
transport as well as train stations, bridges, tunnels, central buildings in main
cities, military bases and various intelligence installations.

REMEMBER, Yassir Arafat addressed the UN, which is a whole body
of terrorists, on Sunday! It'd be shocking if NO terror'd happened!

EYEWITNESSES
Remember, the FBI will NOT release their FILM of this!

An eyewitness to the crash saw  an "enornmous flash" on the right
side of the plane where the wing meets the fuselage, after which
the plane dropped precipitously.

"I don't know if it was fire or an explosion," the eyewitness said.
"It appeared that debris fell from the left side of the plane. It 
just plummeted. It had no momentum whatsoever. It just plummeted." 

Additional eyewitnesses say they saw a midair explosion before the
jetliner plummeted to the ground in Far Rockaway, Queens.

"The right wing seemed to catch fire and explode. The wing was on
fire with a trail of smoke behind it," one witness told WABC Radio.
He said the explosion took place as the plane was ascending.

Minutes earlier eyewitness Jackie Powers told ABC-TV News that she saw
"an enormous flash" on the right side of the plane's fuselage, with debris
exiting to the left. Additionally, there are reports of two debris fields
on the ground.

Another witness, who watched the plane crash from his boat in Jamaica Bay,
told WABC Radio that the Airbus 300's wing came off and struck the tail section,
which fell into the water nearby. Jamaica Bay borders JFK airport.

"When I heard the pop, we looked up. On the wing side you could see flames and
then the wing just came off. And then another big section of the tail, that
came off and just fell to the ground. Everything came apart right over our heads."

Eyewitness - 'It Was Like a Bomb Exploded'. The crash of an American Airlines jet
south of New York's John F. Kennedy airport started fires "all over the Rockaway
peninsula," witnesses said.  (CNN)

Smoke poured from the crash site, near the beaches of New York's
borough of Queens. The crash site was about 5 miles from the airport,
where the jet had just taken off for the Dominican Republic's
capital Santo Domingo.  It carried 246 passengers and a crew of 9,
federal authorities said. There was no immediate news of survivors.

Witnesses said they saw an explosion on the right side of the plane before
the crash. Phyllis Paul, who lives near the crash site, said a "big, silvery
piece of metal" fell behind her house before the plane went down.

"I was sitting having brekafast and I heard the engines very loud,"
she said. "They were loud and low, and because of what happened
September 11, it gave me a chill. I looked out o the window to see
if I could see where it was, and then I saw a big silvery piece
of metal falling from the sky behind my house."

Paul, who was eating breakfast when she heard the plane, got her
10-year-old son and got out of the house. "I didn't hear an 
explosion at first when I saw the metal fall. I heard an explosion
about a minute and a half later," she said.

About 20 blocks away, David Saliro and his brother were in a car on
a bridge on-ramp when the crash occurred. Saliro said the plane came
down "at a flat trajectory, straight down flat. We were both shaking
and didn't know what to do," he said.

Volunteer firefighters said a burning aircraft engine dropped into
the back yard of a house, setting the house ablaze. No one was home
at the time, one firefighter told CNN.

Since the September 11 terrorist attacks, U.S. warplanes have patrolled the
airspace around New York. Susan Locke, who lives about 5 blocks away, said she
thought the noise at first was a fighter jet. "I looked out the window and
saw a plane nosedive, straight down," she said.

Another woman described the neighborhood around the crash site as a
scene of "complete, utter terror. Everybody is so distraught & upset
and in shock," she said. When the plane approached, "I thought it
was like the Concorde and it was flying too low," she said.
"Then it hit. It was like a bomb exploded."

Miles away, a mayor, a president's spokesman 
and a slew of FAA officials were urging us to think "accident."

Eugene Sanfilippo saw a huge orange ball of flame; he could still
feel the unbearable heat; he could hear people screaming; he could
taste the acrid black smoke.  And he was still afraid. He said 
"When I heard the explosion, I thought we were under attack. My
first impression was that they'd hit us with a nuclear bomb. I 
figured it was just like the World Trade Center. And I watched that
burn from the (Jamaica) bay. Every day I fear more and more for the
safety of my family. Why should we be made to suffer this way?"

Tommy Rayder knew  "in this part of the city, we all know everybody.
I want to believe it was mechanical. I'm hoping it was an accident.
These days, an accident is what you pray for."

James Gill:  "We are up on the Cross Bay Bridge, driving over from
Richmond Hill to look at a house.  My wife saw the whole thing. What
she saw was an explosion, way forward on the engines, sort of just
behind the cockpit. Amanda was hysterical. She dialed 911 on the
cell phone, and just started to scream, `Help me! Help me!'"

After being rocked by the sound of an initial explosion, James Gill
said he looked up to see American Flight 587 in flames and 
attempting to bank, only to wind up in a flat death spiral.
"I was in munitions in both the Army and also the Navy. I know what
I heard and what I saw. That was no mechanical problem. No way!"

My morning in New York began with a bang. An American Airlines flight 587 went down near JFK. Many people here began bracing for another wave of attacks. But none materialized. Maybe this awful disaster was just an accident. Maybe not. The FBI came out within a half-hour of the incident to say there was no apparent terrorism, just a mechanical plane failure. Larry Klayman¡s Judicial Watch quickly issued a press release slamming the FBI for its snap assessment. Whatever you may think of Judicial Watch, on this one it batted a home run. How could any reasonable person come to any conclusion on this crash so fast? So far, we know an engine fell from the jet. Engines typically don't just fall off planes. OK, let¡s say for the moment the crash was not caused by a bomb. What caused the mechanical failure? How about possible sabotage from one of the ground crew? An investigation first needs to be conducted, and only then a conclusion drawn. But the government is so anxious to calm an already panicked public, it is trying, at every opportunity, to hold back any possibility of bad news. We saw how federal officials downplayed the anthrax attacks. Some officials are holding back the truth, perhaps to protect the economy. Yes, the economy is shaky and another terrorist act against a civilian jet will only hurt. But in the long run, fairy tales don¡t help. We ignore the truth and bad news at our peril. I don't believe in holding back bad news. Failing to tell the public "bad news" doesn't lead to better news, just more trouble. The reason we Americans are in this terrorist predicament is because of the increasing deceit coming from our government. This process of deceit is a decades-long one. We all know now the Gulf of Tonkin incident was a provocation, and that the government fed the public lies about the progress of the Vietnam War. In the end, the U.S. government lost South Vietnam, and years of public trust was eroded. When Clinton came to power in 1993, he brought government by deceit to a new height. One episode during he Clinton years that may have parallels to Flight 587's crash was the 1996 crash of TWA 800. Reed Irvine of Accuracy in Media has concluded that the overwhelming evidence proves a missile downed TWA 800, and that the Clinton White House and the FBI ensured that the truth would not be made known to the public. I personally have not investigated the matter, though I know the investigation was a sham. A friend of mine, a high-ranking New York state official, told me that on the day the FBI was brought into the TWA investigation he spoke with then New York assistant FBI Director James Kallstrom. Kallstrom told my friend, before the FBI had even gotten its feet wet investigating, that the investigation would not show that a missile downed the plane. Kallstrom told my friend that the public couldn't handle such a revelation, and mentioned that several shoulder missiles went missing during the Gulf War. The truth of TWA 800 was damned, I believe, not in the interest of the public, but in the interest of Clinton's 1996 re-election drive. No one took Kallstrom, or the Clinton White House, to task for their shameful handling of the matter. Amazingly, Kallstrom retired from the FBI and is now in charge of New York¡s disaster management! Covering the truth didn't hurt his career. We have been living through make-believe times, and the only way we can ensure our future is to embrace the truth and hold those who deny it accountable.
