The LAW  and JUSTICE  RESTRAINS  SIN  and  Lawlessness  
The LAW can only restrain sin and crime when applied JUSTLY, in accord with GOD's laws.
The LAW and JUSTICE must be applied uniformly, even handedly and in TRUTH.

The LAW restrains sin.  The USA has often been called the LAW, world policeman, protecting small nations.
BUT  The USA no longer lives under the rule of law.  This restrainer has been taken away.  JUSTICE is fallen in the street!

Could Paul have been referring to the United States of America in 2 Thessalonians, at least partly?
True, the USA did not existyet, but the terminology is mysterious.
When John wrote the Revelation (apocalypse), he had not see the things which exist today, therefore his terminology is limited.

There is SO MUCH WRONG with the common interpretations of this chapter, and I am not saying I am right!
All I am doing is presenting RANDOM THOUGHTS for consideration, puzzle pieces, NOT doctrine.
The common thinking is that a 3rd temple needs to be built in Jerusalem on Temple Mount where the antichrist, man of sin will stand.
Another random thought is, Jesus Body was the temple, and now our bodies are His temple.
When we gather in His name, we are the body.  This is the 'eagles' theme thruout the Jerusalem Passion oratorio.
The eagles gather where the body is.  I tried to only put ONE verse here, then 2, or 3,  but this entire chapter is ONE, inseparable.

U.S.A. no longer a Constitutional Republic  
Dec 30  The USA no longer lives under the rule of law.  This restrainer has been taken away.
A retired military officer who pursued a legal challenge to Barack Obama's occupancy of the Oval Office all the way to the
U.S. Supreme Court says the conviction and sentencing of an active duty officer who raised questions signals the
end of the rule of law in the United States.  WE ARE LAWLESS.
Congress failed its constitutional duty to examine Obama's legitimacy and so did the Electoral College.
The U.S. Supreme Court ultimately decided not to hear arguments, leaving standing a lower court's dismissal.
The military UNJUSTLY court-martialed Lt. Col. Terrence Lakin, because he has concerns that Obama refused to
document his eligibility to serve as commander in chief.  The judge in Lakin's case refused JUSTICE for Lakin.
That means that we no longer have a rule of law and a constitutional republic subservient to the fundamental law of the land, the U.S. Constitution.

Dec 30  Big Gas Find Sparks a Frenzy in Israel, Leviathan gas field, the world's biggest deepwater gas find in a decade.
Today it sits at the center of a gas bonanza that has investors, international oil companies, Israeli politicians and even Hezbollah,
Israel's sworn enemy, clamoring for a piece of the action.  Russia wants it too.
Leviathan, named after the Biblical sea monster, and two smaller gas fields nearby have kicked up a broad speculative craze.

Dec 26   IDF hits terrorists detonating explosives on Gaza border.
Israeli forces open fire on group of terrorists trying to plant explosive devices along security fence.
2 of the Gaza terrorists were killed.  The condition of the third terrorist remains unclear.
The IDF said soldiers and a helicopter gunship opened fire on the group of terrorists near the Suffa crossing.

Nearly 30 rockets and mortars have been fired toward Israel over the past week.
The Air Force hit back with multiple airstrikes on various targets in the Hamas-ruled coastal enclave. 
Hamas rulers warned they would escalate hostilities against Israel.
Hamas claims a truce is in effect, but Hamas lies.  They NEVER keep their 'truces' - they just want Israel NOT to defend herself.

USA may recognize Palestinian state  
Dec 26  Israel fears U.S.A. will follow 4 Latin American countries, and recognize a Palestinian state
within 1967 borders.  Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia and Ecuador recognize a Palestinian state within the indefensible 1967 borders.
Uruguay said it would recognize 'Palestine' in 2011.  Israel may face harsh ramifications, because Palestinians dont want peace anyway.
There was escalation of rockets fired from Gaza after IDF killed 2 terrorist who tried to plant explosive devices near the security fence. 
Ben-Eliezer said, I hope Hamas will stop the firing from Gaza Strip. We have no interest in escalation.  We have no choice but to react.

Dec 31  Abbas seeks US backing in UN settlement condemnation.
Terror Chief PA President Mahmoud Abbas laid the cornerstone for a Palestinian Embassy in Brasilia, Brazil in recognition of Palestinian state.
Brazil has recognized the state of Palestine based on borders at the time of Israel's 1967 conquest of the West Bank.
Abbas gave a speech in Brazil declaring Israeli settlements are illegal - on Israel's own land!  Abbas and satan have much in common!
He wants the United Nations to condemn Israeli building, and sadly Obama favors him and hates Israel.
Abbas was in Brazil for the cornerstone-laying ceremony for a Palestinian embassy in Brazil, who recently recognized the nonexistent state of 'Palestine.'

Obama expects Israel to commit SUICIDE 
Obama is pressing Israel to enter into negotiations with Syria and retreat from the strategic Golan Heights.
Syria is in a military alliance with Iran. The Golan looks down on Israeli population centers, and TWICE Syria has invaded Israel from there.
Damned Obama wants Syria to take most of the Golan - and evacuate the Jordan Valley.  Such wickedness.

Dec 27  Make NO mistake - this is WAR on Israel.  Israel tracking aid ship headed from Asia to Gaza
160 activists aboard ship docked in Syria plan to break the Israeli blockade on Gaza.
They are waiting for Egyptian approval to sail to the port of El Arish and from there to then sail to Gaza. 
The ship is the first vessel to set sail from Asia to Gaza.

Arkansas Tornado Kills 3 
Dec 31  A tornado touchdown in Northwest Arkansas kills at least 3 people in Cincinnati, Washington County
near the Oklahoma state line.  Local reporter pulled into town saw emergency vehicles everywhere, smashed buildings, a horrible scene.

Northern Ireland Water Chaos  
Dec 31  Thousands of homes and businesses in Northern Ireland have been without water a week.
Northern Ireland Water said it was alternating supplies from reservoirs in a bid to give every area a limited supply, causing more interruptions.

COLD Temps Worldwide May Lead To Food Shortages  
Dec 29  September and October some prices like sugar and cotton had already doubled, corn had climbed 29%, orange juice 17%.

Natural disasters are increasing
There is a grave warning message in the worldwide escalation of natural disasters. 
The incidence of natural disaster has risen dramatically over the past 20 years. To close observers of current events
in relation to both history and Bible prophecy, this is no coincidence. 
The kooks muddy the water as soon as Bible prophecy is mentioned in relation to natural disaster.
Statistics prove natural disasters have risen startlingly since 1990. 

BIRTH PANGS
During the 40 years preceding the decade of the 1990s, there were 142 natural disasters in the United States. 
During the 10 years of the 1990s, there were 72. 
From 2000 to 2009 saw some of the worst and most destructive natural disasters in recorded history across the globe. 
And the most destructive in terms of loss of life and property? Earthquakes by far!
1989 was a key year from which natural disasters escalated.

Why such drastic escalation?
The Bible speaks of the world reaching a time when catastrophic events prophesied would no longer be held back by the hand of God.
Matthew 24 and Luke 21 and other places.
These climactic events were predestined to be delayed in their inevitable fulfillment to allow a great purpose to come to fruition.

Disasters would break out suddenly and dramatically to shock the world with their destructive force. 
Thats the only way God has ever been able to grab the attention of humanity!

Those prophesied catastrophes were to be a dramatic warning sign to humankind of the sudden, direct,
imminent intervention in human affairs by GOD Himself.  This was to be a warning sign especially to those who ought to know better
than to live the prevailing life of immoral, godless profligacy that has so taken over their society today.

Jerusalem Passion by Murray Wylie is one of the most powerfully annointed works I have heard in ages.
He has eagles as a theme thruout the work which has caused a mystery.  Can you solve it?  
His Body is the temple and we who follow Him.  We are His Body, His temple.

This majestic work has absolutely consumed me this week!  It should be performed in churches in USA and worldwide NOW!

Christ's Body was the temple, He is in us and now our body is His temple.
When I read Wylie's thinking on Where Are the Eagles, I was astonished to see 1 Corinthians 10 and 11, since I had this here already.

This is My body, which is broken, given for you.  Do this in remembrance of Me.
In the same way He took the cup also after supper, saying,
This cup is the new covenant in My blood.  Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.
For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until He comes.

Therefore whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner, shall be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord. 
But a man must examine himself, and in so doing he is to eat of the bread and drink of the cup.

We do not know if we will die in our sleep.  Always be sure your heart is right with GOD.
So many are so sure they are safe because they go to church, yet live in sin.
Sadly does Revelation say - and they repented NOT of their evils.
Sorrowfully does the Lord call, in His quiet voice,  COME!   But few heed.
2011 is on the horizon and things are ominous.  Death comes SUDDENLY.
