Jun 7 A natural gas explosion in north Texas killed one member of a crew installing utility poles.
The worker's body was found some distance from the blast site. He struck a gas line, sending a massive fireball into the air.
The worker had been riding a truck drilling holes for utility poles when the line suddenly exploded. The truck wasfound upside

DANGER for Coastal NEW YORK? Monday, Jun 7, 2010 BOSTON A fishing boat dredging for clams off New York Long Island pulled up
10 canisters, one broke open releasing an unidentified chemical (mustard agent) that caused 2 crew members to blister and struggle to breathe.
The boat took those 2 crew members back to its New Bedford, Mass., port, where emergency medical workers rushed them to St. Luke Hospital.
One was transferred to Massachusetts General Hospital after his condition worsened. The other was released.
The crew of 6 caught the canisters in their nets Sunday about 45 miles south of Long Island but dumped them back into the ocean when one got sick.
The vessel returned to port Monday to drop off the sickened crew member then headed back to sea.
But a second crew member reported feeling lightheaded, and the boat brought him back to port, then went back out.
After learning of the incident, the Coast Guard issued a "captain of the port order," a rare command instructing the boat to return to port.
The vessel was anchored south of New Bedford under quarantine Monday evening.
The FDA was notified and are investigating whether the boat's catch, which was sold Monday in New Bedford, was contaminated.
A 25-foot dead whale washed ashore on New York's Jones Beach Island on Thursday morning.

Church as we know it is Over Let go of 'things' - only hang on to the LORD
The Church is at a major crossroads but most are not aware of the change that is in the Wind.
(That is disturbingly true.) The true Church, the Bride, not a building, will move on with the gentle sound of His voice.
The Church He is building will not need an earthquake, a hurricane, or pixie dust floating in the air to get her attention.
His sheep hear His voice and follow Him because they follow His voice. This will be a big test of who we really are and whose
kingdom we are really building. If it is His Kingdom, we will leap at the sound of His voice and go where he leads us.
If we are building the counterfeit, we will not be inclined to move very quickly, for there is too much risk.
The Holy Spirit is urging, calling, leading us where we may never have been before - into the unknown. FEAR NOT!
FEW have the Faith to follow Him, to risk what they have built. We go around the things He has shown us again and again.
We gather around the same cold walls, we do not rock the boat, but we do not see anything deeper either.
Then we return home and wonder why we feel the same. We wonder - where is the Lord?
God has a definite destination in mind and He fully intends to have a people that will be willing to be led to the deepest
reservoirs of His love and the very fullness of His Life.
Church as we know it is over.
He is about to wrestle control of His own church from the carnal hands of angry, controlling and legalistic men and women.
Church as we know it is passing away. The thing we have called church is but a dim shadow of the life-giving, empowering
wholeness of that for which Jesus died, rather, rose from the dead to lavish upon mere mortal men.
We have asked for wealth when He wanted to give us nations. We focused on our healing when He wanted to make us healers.
We have searched for mercy and compassion when He had called us to carry those same treasures to a dying world.
We are self-examining when He wants us to be pouring ourselves out so others can find Him.
The self-centered, need-oriented, program-driven, growth-addicted destiny-snatching, dream-killing, seeker friendly counterfeit
is about to be replaced by His church; a company of loosely connected people held together only by the bonds of love.
This people is the Christ-centered, Kingdom-declaring, light-shining heart throb of God Himself.
His people hear His voice and respond with joy and anticipation, not fear and uncertainty.
They are a devil-ignoring, life-giving, God-honoring group of worshipers whose greatest fulfillment in life is to be called to His service
by the gentle sound of His voice. This church understands that the hands Jesus will stretch out to heal will be their hands.
They know they are His hug, His smile, His encouraging word and the world's only hope of glory.
The solution is clear. YOU are the church that Jesus Himself, is building!

There are many opinions flying about as to why a once great nation is so rapidly descending into chaos.
There are opinions from economic minds, there are opinions from moral authorities, there are opinions from historians and scholars,
but when we get right down to it, when we get to the heart of the matter and peel back the layers of pseudo-intellectualism,
the answer is - SIN .
Some small words have a big impact, and the word SIN is one of those words. We can theorize, we can deduce,
we can look back on the histories of other great empires and get clues as to why they descended into ruin,
but the Word of God is simple and straightforward: sin has brought us to this place; sin has robbed us of our convictions,
sin has stained our conscience; sin has blinded us to truth; sin has paved the way for our destruction!
Some are attempting to get back on track, to rediscover their roots, to pull themselves up by their bootlaces, and once more
become that exalted nation. Especially of late, it seems we've been hearing more and more opinions on what exalts a nation,
at least in the eyes of the world, and none of their opinions seem to be lining up with the word of God.
It is righteousness that exalts a nation, not wealth, not opulence, not military might, not poverty, not weakness, not rhetoric or politics.
Righteousness exalts a nation, and until we return to righteousness, until we return to faith,
until we return to the truth of God's Holy Word, we will continue to be a reproach.
