DEMONOLOGY

Such an unpleasant subject!
However, it is an important subject on which perhaps
90% are ignorant. Read Ephesians, it speaks much
about principalities (demons) and demonic powers.
One misunderstanding is that people are not responsible
for what they do.

The comedian Flip Wilson said - the devil made me do it.
We ARE responsible for what we say and do. The devil can
tempt us, but the Bible is VERY CLEAR that we are drawn
away by our flesh, our own desires, our will. 

James 1:14
Each one is tempted when he is carried away
and enticed by his own lust, evil desires.

Deuteronomy 30:17 
If your heart turns away and you will not obey,
but are drawn away and worship other gods
and serve, obey them.

Very few people are so controlled by demons that they have
no control over their words and behavior.  Before writing
this, I checked on some of these things with Elders, Leaders,
Prophets. All but one agrees on what I am writing. 

Colossians 1:16
By Him (Jesus) all things were created, both in the heavens
and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or
dominions or rulers or authorities
all things have been created through Him and for Him. 


FAMILIAR SPIRIT

EVERY PERSON BORN is given a demon for life,
the familiar spirit which hangs around you.
Some say each person born is also given a Holy angel from God
and the 2 war for your soul. Others say only those who God knows
WILL be saved have this holy angel.

Your familiar spirit just knows you, only a demon who hangs
around you all your life. This is simply a demon, evil spirit,
who is familiar with you, your habits, your thoughts.

Some teach these are also ancestoral spirits that follow in
families. Most people I have known use the term ancestoral
spirits rather than familiars. This is the spirit the witch
of Endor expected when she called up Samuel for Saul.
Instead GOD returned the real Sam! 

I only found the term familiar spirit in the KJV.
The familiar is NOT a control demon or what the Bible calls
a strong man. He may whisper to you but does NOT have control
of you unless you let him.

It is NOT something which can be cast out.
It is part of the world, the flesh and the devil which we
battle til we die physically. Just because familiar spirits
exists does NOT mean we need to 'deal with' them,
that is sin.

2 Chronicles 33:6
And he caused his children to pass through the fire
also he observed times, and used enchantments, and used
witchcraft, and dealt with a familiar spirit, and with wizards:
he wrought much evil in the sight of the LORD,
to provoke him to anger.

1 Chronicles 10:13
So Saul died for his transgression which he committed against
the LORD, even against the word of the LORD, which he kept not,
and also for asking counsel of one that had a familiar spirit,
to enquire of it.

The sinful mind is hostile to God.
It does not submit to God's law, nor can it do so.
Romans 8:7


CONTROL SPIRIT / STRONG MAN

You must INVITE these in somehow.
Perhaps thru illicit sexual activity, drinking alcohol,
viewing pornography, even traumatic life experience.
They can take control if the Lord convicts you
but you refuse to yield to the Lord. 
Some say there are generation (family) demons
who can control future generations. 

Do not confuse this with familiar
A generation / family spirit can invite other demons,
stronger, as a person grants them permission thru
repeated sin. If you have this spirit
you need the help of another to get free.

Jesus said,
Any kingdom divided against itself is laid waste;
and any city or house divided against itself will not stand. 
If Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself;
how then will his kingdom stand? IT WONT!!!!

If I by Beelzebul cast out demons, by whom do your sons
cast them out? For this reason they will be your judges.
But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God,
then the kingdom of God has come upon you.
How can anyone enter the strong man's house and carry off
his property, unless he first binds the strong man
And then he will plunder his house. 

He who is not with Me is against Me;
and he who does not gather with Me scatters.

Therefore I say to you,
any sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven people,
but blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven.
Matthew 12:25-31

Satan assigns ranks of demons over people, churchs,
neighborhoods, areas, states and countries. 
Demons quarrel a lot.

Colossians 2:15
When He (Jesus) had disarmed the rulers and authorities,
(principalities and powers), He made a public display of
them, having triumphed over them through Him.

Ephesians 3:10
His intent was that now, through the church,
the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to
the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms.

METHOD of DELIVERANCE

Demons need to be thrown out in the complete
Name of the LORD JESUS CHRIST (Yeshua Messiah Adonai).
There is no other name in Heaven or Earth.
Depending on the degree or intensity of a person's
demonization, you may want to command the demon to be
silent and not disrupt FIRST, before starting.

There are demons named Jesus and demons named father,
they will take whatever name will be pleasing to those
they inhabit. 

DO NOT be fooled by TEARS.
I have personally often seen manipulators, controllers
use tears as a means of control. This is only an overview.
I was married to one of these.  He could turn tears off
and on in an instant.

Romans 14:11 For it is written,
As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to Me,
And every tongue shall give praise to God.


DELIVERANCE or HEALING

This is not always an easy question.
If you have a black dog and a white dog, and feed one,
but not the other, the one you dont feed will die.
If a person habitually lies, gossips, they are
feeding the bad dog.  A correct understanding is critical to
a healthy group and/or ministry.

Yes, it is right to expose error and to name those who
are in error. It is right to earnestly contend for the faith
which was once delivered unto the saints (Jude 3).

revision. We had better beware of false teachers who privily

Faithful messengers will warn the sheep of these heretics,

In His Name we can command the tornado, winds of storm, to be still.
I have done this often. I have seen results personally as storms
split and go around, or calm suddenly as they approach.
I have Emails from others who commanded a tornado headed
toward them to stay away - and it lifted or dissipated.

Too few Christians KNOW and USE their authority in Jesus' name,
which He left us who follow Him. 'In My Name you shall do greater works.'
